The town of Choiceland uses MTN Disposal Garbage and Recycle services. Recycle and Garbage are collected Every Second Monday alternateing weeks. One week Recycle, one week Garbage (See the below Calendar for dates)
Put your bins out to the curb on Sunday Night as collection can be as early as 7am, but has been as late as 3pm
Move bins off the road when bins are emptied, especially during the winter so the town team can do normal snow removal.
If garbage or recycling falls on a holiday, it will be picked up the next business day (Usually the Tuesday right after the collection day, see the schedule posted below for 2026)

Flatten cardboard

Do not bag recyclables unless it is shredded paper

The Town of Choiceland sources its water from local town wells and operates a single pump station. Known for its quality, Choiceland’s water supply is among the best in Saskatchewan. A full chemical analysis is available through the towns annual reports.
Monthly rates for Residents: (Billed Every 3 months)
Water: $22.50 (non-metered)
Sewer: $17.50
Lawn Watering Restrictions
To conserve water, residents are asked to water lawns in the evenings only and follow odd/even scheduling:
If your house number ends in an even number, water on even-numbered days.
If your house number ends in an odd number, water on odd-numbered days.

The Garrick Landfill, is located 9 Km's North, and 10 Km's East. (See Map Above for directions, Accepting household garbage, scrap metal, and construction waste.

Hours of Operation: Sunday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Closed on all Statutory Holidays
Accepted Materials: Wood, wire, baler twine, household garbage, appliances (e.g., fridges, freezers, air conditioners, washers, dryers), and construction waste.
Fees:
Appliances with halocarbons such as deep-freezers, air conditioners, and fridges - $20.00 for each appliance
Construction Waste Fees:
Half tonne truckload or trailer $10.00
3 tonne and tandem truckload $50.00
end dump truckload $100.00
